| Terra De Cores (place of colour) AFRICAN MIRROR 11: PHOTOGRAPHER - GLENN MURRAY He describes himself as a traveller who takes pictures as apposed to being a photojournalist. His unique world view is captured on film that we may share in what he sees. Glenn Murray (36) is a professional photographer who lives with his Dutch wife, their newborn and 3 dogs on a farm 20km outside Plettenberg Bay. He met his wife of 4 years while on assignment in Holland, but the maturity of their relationship affords Glenn the time away from home his work demands.
His genuine empathy and respect for people and the environment is very evident in his choice of subject matter. Having travelled to 37 countries so far, Glenn can be commissioned to the remotest parts of the planet. We present a few images from his current exhibition on Brazil, which can be viewed at Kurland Estate currently and then moves on to Wits University, Centre for American Studies.
He relishes the thought of one day overhearing someone say “that looks like a Glenn Murray!”
